    Really cool elegant birds, and loud, very loud. It started moving quickly away from me as soon as it saw me from the distance, so I couldn't get a very good image.

    I know, of course, that birds are able to change the angle at which they hold their feathers, fluffing up when it is cold and becoming remarkably sleek when it is hot. I didn't realize they could do this, though.

    We always stop by at this place when travelling from So Paulo/SP to Londrina/PR. There are some feeders there and, for my surprise, there were two Seriemas feeding on the ground (with their legs strangely bended) and very next to us.
