Red-legged Seriema (Cariama cristata) Sexes similar. North along the MT-060 Road heading towards Pocon, Mato Grosso, Brazil from the Transpanthaneria Road. Roadside, cerrado at ca. 128 m (420 ft) elevation. Taken from a backseat of a moving Van through the sloped windshield. I just like the Seriemas running down the road and the mule drawn cart in front.

For such large birds, we don't see them in here very often - it's just about a year since the last picture came in!
