The first seems like a bolete type but the underside is rather wierd and didn't give any spores. The second was growing from an old oak log. White warty, globular spores ~6um. Any ideas - thanks.

Hi Colin,

The first looks like an immature Gyroporus castaneus

The second is Rhodotus palmatus - Nice find :)

The Wrinkled Peach can be very attractive can't it. I shall look again in a few days to see if it gets "Wrinled".
