2 Weeks in December - Spoon-billed sandpiper? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

Am planning an independent trip to Burma for 10th-24th December.

Will be with non-birding family and largely restricted to Public transport Other than for locations that could be done in a day trip.

Would love any advice on birding locations in the country, currently have no solid plans so all advice would be welcome.

Also any advice on whether the Spoon-billed Sandpiper site (the internet seems to suggest that there's even a bird hide on Nan Thar Island!) would be reachable and if the birds are likely to be there.

Recommendations for guides (probably just for a day) would also be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
