This year's annual conference is focussed on bird sounds. Those who can't get to Pitlochry can watch/listen on Zoom, there is a (nominal) charge for non-members. Someone from xeno-canto and Sound Approach are doing a talk amongst others.

On the one hand, a birdwatching club. On the other, a network of volunteers across Scotland, gathering vital information about Scotland’s wild birds. SOC will help you further your knowledge and enjoyment of Scotland’s wonderful birdlife.

An excellent day 2 from Pitlochry, I particularly enjoyed Magnus Robb from the Sound Approach project who treated us amongst other topics to a quick lesson in Tringa sandpiper calls! I expect everyone knows the site anyway but here it is again
