2cy(?) gull, Broughty Ferry, Scotland 26/8/23 (1 Viewer)

Photographed this gull which caught my eye as I was coming back into Broughty Ferry (east end of Dundee) harbour, from a boat a week ago, but hadn't had a chance to go back to the photos to try to ID it properly. I'm wondering about the possibility of a 2cy Yellow Legged Gull (though so far all my 'odd' larger gulls have been Herring Gulls) - having tried to make sense of the gull books and Gull Research Organisation page for August birds. Chances to study actual YLG/Caspian Gulls locally are virtually non-existent (without own transport) so I just keep looking, hoping to finally find a 'good' one of my own and trying to learn. Any input appreciated.

herring gull to my eyes......large pale primaries and looks to be 1st to 2nd cycle moult

Cheers. Had similar response elsewhere. I'll need to keep on looking for my first YLG or Caspian Gull here in Dundee...
