I'm no expert, far from it. A novice birdwatcher for sure. π
I've always had an interest in birdwatching but work and life always seemed to get in the way.
Now I'm olderand wiser I've got more time to myself, so i joined the nearest wetlands and the more times I go the more my interest grows.
Sitting in a hide or a nice spot with my very old and not very good binoculars looking at birds that I'm not even sure of is just so relaxing and so enjoyable.
I stumbled across this site after I was looking for some basic birdwatching info. π
This place looks the perfect place where I can learn lots of new stuff. I'm looking forward to reading all your posts and viewing some incredible pictures of our feathered friends.
I might have a lot of questions for all you experts out thereπ
I can now tell the difference between a Moorhen and a Coot and a Swift and a Swallow, that is how much of a novice I am.π€£
