Alophoixus ruficrissus fowleri (Amadon & Harrisson, 1956) OD Amadon, D. & T. Harrisson, 1956. A new bulbul from the Kelabit Uplands. Sarawak Museum Journal, 7: 516–517 here
Remarks : The form is named for Mr. James A. Fowler III, a volunteer in the Department of Birds at the American Museum of Natural History, who arranged much of the Kelabit collection and who pointed out the distinctness of this form.

The Eponym Dictionary of Birds claims:
Ochraceous Bulbul ssp. Alophoixus ochraceus fowleri Amadon & Harrisson, 1957
James Alexander Fowler III (d.2003) was an American ornithologist and and herpetologist at the AMNH, New York (1952). Columbia awarded his PhD (1961), following which he joined the faculty of the of the State University of New York until retirement (1985). He was honoured because, when he was a graduate student at Columbia University, he had spent much time arranging all the bird holotypes in taxonomic order, with file cards for each one, so greatly facilitating future research. He was still studying and teaching when he suffered a fatal cerebral haemorrhage.

The Key to Scientific Names
Dr James Alexander Fowler III (d. 2003) US ornithologist (subsp. Alophoixus ruficrissus).

Unfortunately here no help to find his birth. I think not to be confused with him Jim Fowler. No idea when he was born exactly.
