This was our second trip to Peru. We had been to the South in 2019 and were very careful not to book with Omar Diaz (Captain Chaos) of Peru Birding Tours again, choosing Steve Sanchez instead. We thought the trip had been sabotaged by a plane crash in Lima just as before we set off from home but thanks to some frantic work by an accommodating Steve, all was not lost.
