Any recommendations on field guides for Lichens?

I see there are a series of Wild ID pamphlets available. Any experience/thoughts?

Thanks

A university professor I studied under had a collection of specimens and the last I knew there were more than 10,000 of them. Not something that fits neatly in a guide.

Field Studies Council do a series of laminated sheets on lichens of different habitats which look quite good for an elementary introduction.
Thanks - I bought a couple - content is fine, but they're a bit unwieldy in the field when opened out. I thought they were laminated, but just slightly shiny paper/thin card (think paperback book cover).
