Female Indian Peafowl (Peacock)
True.
I was just using the common name...
The common name is Peafowl.
Are these domesticated?
Helped by being India's National Bird, so they are protected and liked, and don't generally get shot or harmed.Shouldn't be, like many species across the World, Peafowl have learned to thrive next to or amid humans. Most bits of scrubby land in India have Peafowls, they can often be seen roosting in nearby trees at night.

I wonder how many people have seen all three species?
Just the two for me.
Three?
I only know of Green and Indian. Is there some split followed by HBW and not Clements? (I mainly use Clements)
Congo Peafowl.
Not many have seen this due to logistics and unsafe nature of the location.
Thanks.
Clements for some reason has it down as Congo Peacock
They're awesome birds though!
