Autumn Ladies Tresses
Went to Greenham Common yesterday, unfortunately it would seem that this summers long drought has taken it's toll on the numbers which appear to be significantly down, having only found a few sparse groups, all within or nearly so of the control tower. Still some spikes emerging like tiny Asparagus spears, guess 100 spikes at best. Then the heavens opened up.

Annoyingly, I can't find the post, or remember which group it was on, but a New Forest site had absolutely tonnes of them a few days ago.
Possibly the area was wetter to start off, so the drought had made the conditions absolutely perfect?
I'll post when I find the source
