Baby Grebes in October? (1 Viewer)

Why I’m Still Seeing Unfledged Baby Grebes In October On The Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge Is A Birdwatching Conundrum. – Bear River Blogger
It's weird to think but the other day on the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge I came across several western and Clark's grebes still attending to very young chick's, some still riding on their parents backs. It's early October and most of the non-waterfowl type of birds have already migrated out for the upcoming winter but there are still a few late season grebes around for some reason.
