Beautiful bird from Serengeti (1 Viewer)

After searching on the Internet, I'm almost sure is a juvenile Silverbird, but I just wanted to share this amazing bird and to ask if the correct binomial name is Melaenornis semipartitus or Empidornis semipartitus. The first I've seen in eBird, while most of the pages use the latter.

Regards,

You can always check on Avibase.

IOC World Bird Names currently uses the traditionnal Empidornis semipartitus
Birdlife International & Howard and Moore in their 4th edition as well.

E-bird uses Melaenornis semipartitus
I don't tend to follow e-bird, but they made the change for good reasons and, more important, John Boyd has also made the change towards Melaenornis semipartitus. My bet is that Melaenornis semipartitus will become the consensus in the near future.
