Beginner birder from the UK, camera assistance massively appreciated (1 Viewer)

Hello!

Beginner birder and wildlife enthusiast from the UK, I spend 3-4 weeks in Central America each year and was looking at buying a bridge camera to capture birds and other wildlife on hikes on holidays around the world and in the UK

I have seen a second-hand SX60 for £200, if anyone has any other models I should be looking at around that price point any advice would be hugely appreciated.

I have next to no camera or photography experience but fairly tech savvy so I would be looking for a point and shoot option with long-range zoom and decent image quality.

Thanks in advance :)

Christian

Hi Christian and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to see some of your pictures in the Gallery when you have chosen the camera.
