Which bird is this? It is the only photo I got. Taken in the north-west of Sardinia, 11th of April 2024

Not so sure. The plumage is very worn, however the black and white pattern on the primary edge and the lack of white edges to a short tail suggest Woodlark.

...but the (apparently) short supercilium doesn't - nor does the (apparent) lack of white on the tail-tip - even though the bill is rather slim. The black-white mark on the wing-edge is difficult to judge, and not clearly that of woodlark. White tail-sides might easily be hidden in this view. In my opinion.

An extremely short tail with a prominent white super and spangley white back patterning suggests Woodlark to me.

Woodlark. As well as its structure and the visible white tips to the primary coverts already noted, compare the face pattern of the two species - more contrast in Woodlark, with a dark moustachial stripe and lateral throat stripe as well as the paler mark below the eye, all shown by this bird.
