I'm sorting through a load of old photos my dad took on his trips around the world. Anyone know what this is? It's probably from South Africa but I'm not 100%.

Narina Trogon.
That's a beautiful trogon and a lovely picture you've taken of him too CV.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. My Dad took the photo, by the way, and the irony is that I have a picture (drawing/painting) of two trogons in my living room as I write. One with red breast and one with a yellow breast. I bought it at the natural history museum. I'm not a birder, so it takes a while for these things to sink in.
