Bird identification with photos - Fuerteventura (1 Viewer)

I came pass this bird on a visit to Fuerteventura (Canary islands) a couple of weeks ago. It sat quietly on a branch in the garden of our hotel complex.
I simply cannot find any pictures on the internet of a similar bird! Please help me solve this mystery because it's driving me mad.

The bird was quite small, about the size of a thrush. It seemed calm, sitting in the tree for a while allowing me to take some pictures before it flew away. As you can see in the pictures it has a red belly, black head, lightly beige body and black or dark brown tail.

I had one singing in a tree near La Lajita in early 2012 and being answered by another nearby, but out of sight.
