I saw this bird in early July in Austin, TX. I am having trouble figuring out what it is.

Just a guess from me.

The size, the shape of the beak, and the way it's sitting in the tree looking helpless, make me think juvenile Corvid. Could it be an American crow?

Curious to hear other opinions.
