Birding around Luzern area (1 Viewer)

hello, I'm from California and enjoy visiting Europe. I have birded in Ireland and London area with locals, and found that to be productive, as well as more fun than going it alone.

I'll be in the Luzern area in Switzerland (will likely bird Mt. Pilatus) and am wondering what areas nearby (no car) would be good. I have approx. 70+ common European species, and am hoping to see some new birds (wall creeper, etc. that might be found in the pre-alpine areas).

Also if anyone wants to bird, I'll pay for petrol.

Thanks for any suggestions! My bird photo site is below...

Likewise, fire away with any questions about birding in California.

Thanks, I wasn't sure how to get to specific countries / areas on the forum. And yes I saw that link/post, that was the post that got me here.

Is there a way to move my post to that Switzerland section?

When are you in the area? At the moment I have lots of time at hand (however no car but birding with puplic transport is easy in Switzerland).
You can also pm me.

Luzern is located in a very beautiful area; any good birds will add value to your trip I'm sure.
