Birding Bloopers- Your most amusing birding experiences (4 Viewers)

Dr Richard Arnold told me about the time when Bangor Uni's stuffed bittern was 'borrowed' and placed near to a small pond not far from Mona airfield on Anglesey. Apparently, the bird was approached very closely using some stealthy fieldcraft before it was realised that it was bereft of life.
 
I work in a very large repairshop for freight trains. We had a snobby visitor who asked what type of anoying birds were flying around inide the shop. Within a few seconds of suggesting we eradicate the birds, one droped his opinion on top of her shoulder. I had worked there 19 years without such a incident happening to me.
