Birding Tuscany, Italy (1 Viewer)

I am traveling to Tuscany for the first time mid April. We will be staying on a farm near Pienza, and I would like to take a morning birding walk. I am very experienced at identifying birds by site and sound in the Western U.S. but have very little experience birding outside the U.S. I would love to take in the natural history and bird life in Tuscany. Any recommendations and/or must see are appreciated.

I have read a little about Lago di Montepulciano and the Rocconi Nature Reserve.

Thanks in advance!
