Birdwatching Monthly or similar? (1 Viewer)

A colleague at work has been doing some spring cleaning, and come across a complete collection of Birdwatching magazines and as he knows my other half better has asked if I want them.

I'm always looking for good reading material, or indeed any birding related material.

Rather than throw these out, he is giving them to me. I haven't a clue what the title was, or indeed from which period.

Does anyone recognise the format? - a monthly series about birds or birding - as I said he has the complete collection so just wondering what they are. I've only been birding about 4 years, and don't recall anything recent.

Update on this - I have now received the completed 7 binders. It is called Encyclopaedia of Birds and published by Orbis over 90+ weeks. Not sure of when, but the copies of the individual magazines were the princely sum of 65p

Yes, I think this came out in the mid to late 70s, I collected a few myself but not the full set, and they've long since gone.
