Black Lark in Sobieszeweska Rezerwat Ptasi Raj, in Gdansk? (1 Viewer)

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum!

We are glad that you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello. Please join in wherever you like.

Hi lizettemtucker and a warm welcome from me too.

I moved your post to the ID forum, as I think they're better placed to help you.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

well, let's just say, nothing is impossible but - it is extremely unlikely. don't know when the last black lark has been seen in central europe...much more likely another blackish bird like common starling, blackbird or even ring ouzel.

Hi lizettemtucker and welcome to Birdforum!
Please think again whether your bird could be e.g. Starling or Blackbird or even a soot-covered House Sparrow.
Afterwards, you could contact a website dealing with rare birds in Poland. e.g. clanga.com http://clanga.com/index.php/page/show/kontakt or birdwatching.pl : http://www.birdwatching.pl/kontakt . Neither of them reported a Black Lark today. Naturally, be prepared to give them a description and reasons why you think it was a Black Lark. It is an extremely rare bird in Poland, as you already may know :).
best
