BlackRapid Double or OpTech Dual harness? (1 Viewer)

I'm looking for a harness system that will provide comfort for all day hikes and ease of use for my Canon 7D with 100-400mm lens and my Canon 18X50 binoculars.

I've narrowed it down to the BlackRapid Double (DR1) or the OpTech Dual harness. If you've used either or both of these systems I'd really appreciate hearing what you like and don't like about them.

Price is an obvious difference, but if they were the same price which one would best meet my needs?

Thanks,
Alicia Riddle

I tried the Blackrapid double with the 7D and 400f5.6 on one and a Rebel with the 15-85 on the other. I found that the mismatch of weight from side to side made it not work the best.

I suspect it might be similar on the OpTech.

I carry binocs in a holster now on my belt, with a black rapid for the camera and lens. Sometime I also have a second camera with me and use a Cotton Carrier. The gives me one on each hip and the third on the chest area.
