Borneo Rainforest Lodge Jun 19-21 Extra days? (1 Viewer)

I will be at the BRL from Jun 19-21st 2024. First time in MY and I will have been to Teman Negara 3N with guide, Kota Kinabalu and Sepilok before for 3 and 2 nights with a birding guide.

Unfortunately I could not get a Private Birding guide from the lodge. If any bird guide is around from birding companies I would love to join.

Looking for feedback guidance about their 'Normal' guides versus trying to use that time to bird on my own. Or go on their walks and do some on my own. Would appreciate info on trails techniques etc. especially to see some Pittas.

I also have an option to extend my stay for 2 days but again No Birding guide available from the lodge. Debating if it is worth it.

Thanks

I will ask fellow bird guides if they are available during that time. By the way, why don't you ask your guide for KK and Sepilok to guide you at Danum Valley?
