BTX 115 Thread on Filters (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know where to find 118 mm threaded filters for the objective of the 115 mm lenses? My Google search is yielding nothing.

For digiscoping...

Thank you.

The BTX is a spotting scope, not a binocular.
AFAIK no one makes filters of that size. If you are wondering why Swarovski gave the 115 a filter thread, maybe you should ask them.
I myself have the BTX 85, and I cannot imagine a single application where I would want to put a filter on that, especially not for digiscoping. There is already so much glass in the optical path, adding any kind of filter will not improve anything. YMMV

Look no further. The Swarovski pseudo filter thread is a well-known nuisance. I wrote about it years ago:

What kind of filter are you wanting? Circular polarizer? UV filter?

A circular polarizer would help. But if you are after high quality images, you are really better off with a telephoto lens attached to a camera.

A UV filter could honestly hurt more than help, as it can cause flares and ghosting.
