I have a pair of Bushnell Elite 8x43 with a Dioptre which has to be set to maximum to enable sharp focus. I believe this is known as dioptre wander and that the dioptre can be reset by removing the focus knob cover and making adjustment to screws under the focus knob?? Before I try and remove the focus knob I would appreciate any comments advice re this adjustment process. How do I remove the focus knob cover with out causing damage - does it pull off or ?? Advice appreciated. Pictures attached.
