Hello. Does anyone know how to collimate these little binoculars? (my cat threw them on the ground and the image is double). I know they are worth little, but I appreciate them because they were my first pocket binoculars. Thank you so much
Pedro

Hi Pedro,

I think the prisms are glued into place.

I dropped a similar binocular from over two metres onto a hard floor deliberately.

One set of prisms just rattles around and the hinge is broken.

Your cat didn't apply such force.

But it isn't a catastrophe.

Unless you are able to take the binocular apart and reglue the prisms correctly it is time to buy a new similar binocular.

Or you could probably use one or both halves as monoculars.

It is a possibility that your binocular isn't glued and it could be realigned if it is better quality than mine.

Regards,
B.
