Hi. I think it's a male Small White?

No such thing as a cabbage white. It's a name loved by farmers & gardeners & covers two species- the Large & Small White. As Harry said yours is a Small White. also the hoverfly, Myathropa florea, here.

Technically, the title would go to the Large White for it's scientific name Pieris brassicae?

Guess that would be a literal translation though the term "cabbage white" has always encompassed Small White too, which is just as fond of Brassicas.

Cabbage white is an accepted name in quite a few of the countries it’s been introduced to but yes the fact that in vernacular it covers more than one species is the issue
