Can anyone identify the real manufacturer (1 Viewer)

I am trying to find out who were the original manufacturer of these binos.

Although they are labelled Monk Navigator I don't think Monk manufactured them. I think he imported them from Japan. Maybe an older model from Fujinon who allowed Monk to put his name on them. They look liked roof prism rather than Porros but I bow to any superior knowledge here!

Any information anyone would be much appreciated

Maybe a manufacturer which specialised in robust, weather resistant roof prism models? The Minolta 8x32 Mariner is from same manufacturer :

My cousin has them for sale and I wanted to track down the original manufacturer. I suspected they were of Japanese origin. Thanks Peter

My Minolta Mariners are tough but also pretty dim.

I confirm that the 8x32 Minolta Mariner has JB-35 Japan marked.
It also has a worn out Japanese oval sticker.
Marked field is 7 degrees.

There are 3 uncoated surfaces, including one on the optical window at the front.
The other coatings are single and multi (possibly achromatic double?) coatings.

Mild pincushion and quite good optically, but I previously noted rather dim.

I think that the body tubes are one piece.

I should use it more.

Before they closed i spoke with Monk optics by phone they confirmed that they were licensed to sell some Fuji models so your pair could be one of those ,my own Monk Admirals were fuji made so they said .
