Can you identify this bird? (1 Viewer)

Been digging through poor images taken on my iPhone from the summer and found these images. The birds on them were enormous and cruised with slow wingbeats. I thought they were herons but then changed my mind. I think they are something else. The image showing one bird I think is the most interesting- that is the bird that puzzles me, as the other appears to be a grey heron. Taken in Spain near Mar Menor.
Can anyone identify this UFO?
