Chiffchaff race? North East London (1 Viewer)

Chiffchaff found in the garden today, am having trouble ascribing it to race, not looking anything like collybita or abietinus.
Essentially showing no green tones to the upperparts, just a pinkish brown wash to the unders, comments welcome.

Cheers

I'm guessing that you didn't hear it call. It looks
Iike the race you find wintering in Cyprus but those utter a very different and louder contact call.

I had over the course of the day at least two Chiffies and heard a “seep” call several times, also a “sweep” call, however, I never saw any elicitating.😩
It’s interesting that you have seen birds not dissimilar overwintering in Turkey, I find this particularly interesting.

Cheers
