I have good feelings about this one, but being a cisticola I would love if some experts could give me more feedback. I saw it while I was in Tsavo East, on the 26th of August 2024. There were two birds calling in a grassland, with scattered bushes. Given their color, I thought of Ashy Cisticola (apparently it can have a bit of brown on the head). The squeaky call also sounds okay for Ashy – but I think that an expert confirmation is needed for this.
