This is my first post. I have been lurking for a while, and I could use some advice.
I ran across a Coleman 8x34 HD phase coated open bridge roof porro open bridge binocular on amazon Model number COB834. It is priced at $56. Claims to be nitrogen purged and waterproof. It looks a lot like the Bresser Persch 8x34.
It seems like a lot of binocular for $56 but I cannot find any reviews.
Does anyone have any experience with this particular binocular ?

No experience. However, the description is decidedly funky: "Coleman 8x34 HD phase coated open bridge roof porro open bridge binocular". Porros are not phase-coated. They don't need phase-coating at all ... :) Also "roof porro"? Both? Makes no sense at all.

The question is: If they got the description wrong, what else didn't they get right? BTW, Coleman is known for a lot of things. But not for making binoculars.

If you Google 8x34 binoculars, it seems all of them have an open bridge frame. Does that suggest they are all made in the same factory?
It seems odd they would all have that configuration.
