Common or lesser redpoll? Tallinn -Estonia, June 2022 (1 Viewer)

I find it extremely difficult to tell them apart. The norwegian ID site (artsorakel) is in favour of Lesser, while merlin says common redpoll.

It's looking like a lesser redpoll to me, if I saw this in UK I wouldn't look twice at it - uniform warm brown colour of ear-coverts extending around to chin and brownish ground colour. Set against this the flanks look pale and lightly streaked, but IMHO well within range of variation of lessers.
I guess in Estonia the default redpoll is common, so it is a quite unusual record?

Thanks for the detailed description. I only followed ebird while registering the bird, lesser redpoll was marked as infrequent.

Indeed Common Redpoll is the default redpoll across the Baltic States, but Lesser Redpoll does occur from time to time
