Stonechat passage in full swing:

1 immature male along the canal between Salwarpe and Ladywood
3 on hedge along the bridleway just north of Salwarpe village - 1 adult male, 1 immature male and a female.

Good views of Kingfisher along the canal earlier

Late afternoon walk 19 birds, highlights. Cettis sub-calling from Coney reedbed, 2 blackbirds, large flock of Blue and Long tailed tits, pair Collard Dove.

Loads of linnets in the set aside field behind Salwarpe this afternoon, biggest flock was 65 perched on the overhead wires. Young stonechat in the field too. Also; hen sparrowhawk circled over, mobbed by two crows, single raven and passage skylarks
