Any recommendations for a reliable remote shutter device?

I used to use an app on Android called DSLR Controller that worked well over wifi. I think there are also some remotes you can get for little money on Amazon or Aliexpress.
A more sofisticated alternative is Pluto trigger, which works very well in my P1000 connecting to the shutter release port. It works in the P900 too connecting via IR but it is a bit more finicky to set up.
