Coot broods size difference (1 Viewer)

I read an old thread about the possible difference in size of coot chicks because of “staggered” hatching of large clutches, however I came across a large juvenile on a nest with a tiny chick while the parents were close by feeding 3 other tiny chicks. Could this juvenile be from the same clutch? It’s huge by comparison. There also seems to be an egg in the nest?
