Creeping Ladies Tresses in Norfolk (1 Viewer)

Went to Holt today; not a sausage. The warden was helpful, but he said he hadn't seen any this year - I had a look anyway, but I couldn't find anything either.

I may have been too early; but I didn't find any rosettes either.

If anyone tries Holkham later in the season, it would be good to know!

I tried briefly yesterday - the wardens weren't sure where the plants were, but did say that they have had a 'lot of work done and they might not be there now'. I searched lots of open mossy areas under the pines, but nada.

The Keeled Skimmers were nice though.

This sounds like Holt. They had a lot of work done there a few years ago which destroyed most of the tresses.

Hi all

Just been looking at the wildflower gallery on Surfbirds where there are photos of Creeping Ladies Tresses photographed at Wells on 15th July.
