Dark-brown greylags in NE Italy: any info? (1 Viewer)

Hello everybody,
yesterday I spotted this small flock of (apparently) greylag geese grazing close to many other (real) greylags: as you can see from the (awful) picture, they look very dark brown (not so much in the picture: colder colours), have a little bit shorter necks and are perhaps a little bit smaller - at first I thought they were bean or pink-footed geese, but they are not in my opinion ...
Since I'm not aware of any subspecies with these features, the question is: what are they?
Thank you for your advice
Cheers,
Max

Possibly the darker birds are of the subspecies Anser and the lighter birds Rubrirostris (siberian race)?? Feel free to correct me
