Dogs killing wildlife (1 Viewer)

Today in my local forest I saw a dog kill a pheasant, what is the law regarding dogs killing wildlife, and does it depend on what species is killed?

Pheasants are game birds, and acccording to this it´s not legal to hunt them without license. If somebody or something do so it´s called poaching.
If this dog has a handler so he is fully responsible for his dog, means when his dog make some damage or kill or hurt another animal so his owner is in a very bad situation.
