Egret Devon (UK) (1 Viewer)

Roy C

Occasional bird snapper
This one looked way bigger than a Little egret, could it be a Great white without the yellow bill? (breeder!) We have Great whites with yellow bills locally.

When did you see it Roy? It looks like a Little Egret to me, not in all plumages the yellow feet are there or prominent.

cheers,

Little egret. Great would have a gape which extends back to the back edge of the eye (generally) or at least further than here. (Other elements are wrong for great too.)
