Hello
I am a birder and photographer from berlin germany and I will spend the end of May about a week in Hungary.
I will come from the Neusiedler lake and then drive to Hortobágy Halastó.
I am looking for good places to observe birds of prey such as
Imperial Eagle
long legged buzzard
short toed eagle (which is a breeding bird in Hungary?)
or booted eagle.
also golden eagle and falcons i would love to see.

I am also interested in good hides to take pictures of waders and herons and all the other lovely birds that i´ll probably never see in Germany ,).
I hope anyone could give some hints or if is possible will go on a tour with myself.

best regards bernd

Hi,
Imperial is possible on the way, and some Saker, Great Bustard too. I know some free and cool hides in Hortobagy and Kiskunsag. If you need some advise or a personal help, guiding, drop me a mail to [email protected]
Cheers,
Hungarian birder
