Please may I request advice here. I arrived at the above venue and was amazed to see this huge eagle perched on slightly raised ground at the above pools. I thought to try and get closer to get some photos, and as I approached I was further amazed to notice there were actually 4-5 of the eagles perched at the water edge or close by. Of course, the game was up as eventually they all flew off one by one. As regards this first bird, I would be grateful for any id help, as I am not experienced with eagles and this one seems quite plain in appearance, so that it is hard for me to be sure which species it is. I guess the candidates are Imperial, Steppe, and (although very unlikely I suppose) Golden Eagle.
