Feather id (1 Viewer)

Hi Ter and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. I've moved your post to the ID forum, where I think it will receive more attention.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

It's a Woodcock feather, I regularly find many of them under the San Gaudenzio's Dome in Novara, Italy, where i work. They belong to migrant woodcocks (mainly in November) preyed by the local breeding pair of Peregrine Falcon living on the dome.

Thanks and greetings

Ciao Igor Festari
