Female Goldfinch or Female Tanager (1 Viewer)

Hello! I just found this forum and couldn’t be more excited! I’m on eBird but could use your assistance identifying the following bird which I photographed tonight in Rock Hill, SC. I know...,the pictures aren’t great. Sorry. Thank you in advance!

I may be wrong but I'm gonna go with Goldfinch.

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum (y)
We're glad you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello. Please join in wherever you like ;)

Thank you for the quick reply and warm welcome. I guess I was leaning towards Tanager due to the lack of white wing bars. I hope to get a better picture this weekend. Thanks, again!

I would have to go with the Summer Tanager consensus. Looks exactly like them. If you go to eBird's macaulaylibrary image gallery and put in Summer Tanager and then do filter for female, your bird would fit right in with the rest.
