Hello,

seen today in France, 30 km east from paris.
It has some colors of the Ferruginous Duck ; but the white on the wing does not correspond at all. No white on the rump neither. I wonder if it is an hybrid of Ferruginous Duck ????

Any idea???

Hello,

I can not believe it ! I have seen so many Wigeon ; I go to the "Lac du Der" , two, three times per year, and there are many at this place , I sometimes see hundreds of Wigeon. But I have never seen one like this ! To tell the truth, I was quiet skeptic when I saw the fisrt reply of Phil. But you are 7 to have the same opinion , no other choices for me to agree too ! Thanks to all for correcting me, I would never have found alone.
