COVID restrictions permitting, I'm due to spend a week in Barbados in November for a friend's birthday celebrations. I'll want to escape for some birding. Looks as though birding on the island is limited, but would be good to have a local guide one day/half a day to show me the best spots. I'm also interested in recommendations for a field guide, either as an app on my phone or a paperback book. Thanks. Matt

Good morning Meropes,
Barbados has a single endemic which is very easy to get. Apart from that there are a number of typical Lesser Antillean species and some shorebirds to be found. I can provide a couple of email addresses on people who do guiding, send me a PM (click my avitar and hit start conversation).
