Fiji golden dove and orange fruit dove (1 Viewer)

Hi there!

Should these two species easy to see in a week trip to Fiji and Vanua Levu in the month of August? How about logistcs there? Any "guide" there? Thanks!

I saw Orange Dove way up on the way to the Transmitter on Vanua Levu. You need a 4-wheel drive, or be lucky hitching a ride (like I did) with the telecom crew (they pointed out the Dove to me!). Also got lucky with Silktail on the walk down. This was in 2003. Didn't connect with Golden Dove.
